We are proud to announce Clark Easley as SHS's Senior of the Month
Clark Easley is an excellent representation of a Schaumburg Saxon. He embodies a very strong work ethic which allows him to be successful in his classes. He models the expectations of a Saxon outside of the classroom as well by participating in various clubs and organizations. Clark is a strong leader, choosing to help others through interpersonal contact and friendship. All of these demands and sharing of his time and talents is done with a very positive attitude and friendly personality.
In the classroom and community, Clark has received numerous acclamations including being an 2x Illinois Debate Champion, National African American Recognition Award, and Recognized by the Village of Schaumburg for his nonprofit work for Socks in Boots. How does he achieve all this success? He focuses on what he must do, and learns as much as he can from it. Clark enjoys being involved in many things.
Even though he earns high grades that is not his main motivation for success. He tries to challenge himself every day. His positive attitude about learning is also very valuable when the class gets tough. Friends and activity sponsors are always happy when Clark is in their club. He brings a friendly outlook and “can do” attitude to any meeting that he attends. In the future, Clark plans to go to a 4-year college and major in Economic and Public policy.
We are proud to have Clark Easley as our senior of the month for November. He is a great example of what “We Are SHS” is all about.
