  • Go Purple on #SpiritDay
    Thursday, October 18!

    Spirit Day On Thursday, October 18, the HEHS United Hawks club invites you to wear purple on Spirit Day to take a stand against bullying and show support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth. Stop by our informational table in the cafeteria during lunch to get a purple/rainbow ribbon to add flare to your HEHS lanyard as a symbol of support. Show all Hawks they have the right to feel safe, valued, and welcome at HEHS!

  • Varsity Poms Winter Tryouts

    hawks poms The Varsity Poms Team will be hosting Winter tryouts on October 24 from 5:00-6:00pm in the dance room. Come learn the tryout routine at our clinics on October 23 and October 24 from 3:00-5:00pm in the dance room! Please contact Ms. Martino in the Special Education Office with any questions.

  • Senior Panoramic Photo - Oct. 19

    picture please On Friday, October 19th at 7:30a.m. all senior students will participate in the Senior Panoramic Photo in the Main Gym. Students should report to their 1B classes for attendance and then go directly to the Main Gym for the photo. If senior students would like to order a Class of 2019 panoramic photo, they can order online at the Visual Image Photography website by clicking here.

    Volunteering Opportunity

    special olympics Need volunteer hours? Want to contribute to a great cause and have a day of fun? Come sign up as a volunteer for the Special Olympics Volleyball State Tournament being held on Saturday, Oct. 20th. Bus leaves at 7am and will return at 4pm. Lunch and volunteer T-shirt are provided. See Ms. Davey in the English Office to sign up.

  • Girls Gymnastics Meeting

    girls gymnastics There will be a Pre Season meeting on Wednesday, October 17th for anyone interested in becoming part of the Girls’ Gymnastics Team. We will meet in the Gymnastics Gym at 3:00pm and discuss tryouts, expectations and the upcoming schedule. Any girls involved in a fall sport should not miss practice but should come see Coach Calisch in the English office to get the information after the 17th.

Join this interactive event on October 17 exploring state of the art surgical equipment. Gain an understanding of what it means to be a surgeon and how robotics is used in everyday life.   • Open Workouts with Wrestling Team

    wrestling Come workout with the wrestling team on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm in the wrestling room. No experience necessary we work on improving cardio, strength, and agility!   • Present Mindfulness Meditation

    Present-Mindfulness-Meditation Join us and start your day off right with HAWKS ARE PRESENT for MINDFULNESS MEDITATION EACH THURSDAY FROM 7:00-7:25 a.m. in the Dance room by door 10. Mindfulness meditation is a practice for focusing on your breathing to bring your mind to a natural state of being relaxed, open and alert. The group will include breathing and sitting techniques, as well as guided activities.
