Schaumburg High School is proud to recognize Andrea Torres as February 2021 Senior of the Month
Throughout her years at Schaumburg High School, Andrea has proven to be a
leader both in the classroom and out. She has maintained a high academic
standing despite the time that she devotes to athletics and many activities.
Andrea’s hard work, coupled with her willingness to help others, has distinguished
her as a worthy recipient of this recognition.
In the classroom, Andrea’s success has been extraordinary in its scope. She has
achieved high marks in many fields, and constantly challenges herself in a variety
of subjects. Her success has spanned diverse academic fields, which is a testament
to her hard work and drive to succeed. She has worked hard to balance the time
constraints of sports and school and has been recognized as Mid-Suburban League
All-Academic Senior Athlete and IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award. Wise time
management has allowed her to balance all of these demands successfully.
Outside of the classroom, Andrea employs her talents to help others. She
volunteers her time in a variety of organizations to improve the lives of others. She
is a member of the National Honor Society and was invited to serve on the St.
Baldrick’s Student Committee. In her athletic off-season, she volunteers as a
manager for the Boys’ Swim Team. Outside of school, she serves her faith
community in several ways, in which she finds joy and satisfaction. Andrea has
proven a leader through her service.
Andrea’s future plans include continued service to others. Though undecided as to
which college she’ll attend, she has plans to earn an advanced degree in nursing
anesthesia. We see great success in her future due to her significant skills, excellent
work ethic, and positive disposition. We are proud to announce Andrea Torres as
the February Senior of the Month.
Congratulations, Andrea Torres , on being recognized as Schaumburg High School’s February 2021 Senior of the Month!
