Schaumburg High School is proud to recognize Leon Eberhardt as October 2021 Senior of the Month
We are proud to announce Leon Eberhardt as the October Senior of the Month. From the moment Leon walked through the doors of SHS, he started his positive contribution to Schaumburg High School. While at Schaumburg High School, Leon has been a member of the Boys’ Golf Program, Boys’ Basketball Program, Business Professionals of America, Math Team, HOSA, Scholastic Bowl, and the National Honor Society Vice President. Leon’s contributions in the school community match his impressive efforts in the classroom, which makes him a wonderful representative of the best qualities our students possess.
Leon is the epitome of being goal-oriented. As one of Leon’s coaches stated, “Leon is extremely bright, dependable, and goal-oriented. He is a true example of being a well-rounded student-athlete.” He works with the highest degree of integrity, and his actions and words always align.” Leon’s maturity and time management skills allow him to maintain focus on his goals. Through his intelligence, work ethic, and high character he always positively influences the community he is a part of.
With all that he does, Leon clearly finds value in service work. In addition to his academic and extracurricular commitments, he has volunteered at Willow Creek Care Center, Community Tutoring, and The Taiwan Ambassador Program. Despite an extremely busy schedule, Leon is an excellent student who does not shy away from taking a schedule with impressive academic rigor.
Leon is undecided as to where he will further his education, though he plans to major in Engineering. His time at SHS has him fully prepared to continue to excel. Leons’s discipline, maturity, selflessness, desire to succeed and better those around him make him a stellar student and we are proud to announce Leon Eberhardt as our October Senior of the Month.
