Congratulations to Sanvi Patel for being announced as December 2025 Senior of the Month.
Schaumburg High School is proud to announce Sanvi Patel as the December Senior of the Month. Sanvi is an elite leader, scholar, and classmate who represents the best values of the Saxon community.
Sanvi excels academically in the most challenging courses SHS has to offer. Sanvi has been named a National Merit Commended Scholar. Her teachers say that along with her high scores on tests and essays, her leadership and participation in the classroom are among the best in the school. She is curious, hardworking, and disciplined. Not only does she demonstrate these academic virtues, but she also helps teach them to underclassmen as a LIFT Mentor and leader of several teams and clubs. She makes the classroom a better environment for her teachers and peers.
Along with her incredible academic success, Sanvi is a tireless leader in various extracurricular activities. Among her many contributions outside of the classroom, she is a captain on the Swim Team and a varsity water polo player. She is also a co-captain of the Speech Team and co-editor of the Yearbook. Sanvi says that this leadership has also been a highlight for her. She says that she has been positively impacted by “becoming a leader at the school and being able to help other students grow and learn, whether as a student ambassador or LIFT Mentor…or through being swim captain and speech captain and helping others become better at their craft.” Sanvi’s contributions to the school are almost too long to list: she is also involved with HOSA, Student Ambassadors, NHS, Rho Kappa, and SALT as well as several community organizations.
Sanvi’s future plans include studying Molecular and Cellular Biology as she pursues a Doctorate of Pharmacy. We see great success in her future due to intelligence, leadership, and tireless work ethic. We are proud to announce Sanvi Patel as the December 2025 Senior of the Month.
