Esports Team
-
Esports Team is a competitive team that competes in-person against other schools in League of Legends, Rocket League, FIFA, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart. Additional games are likely to be added but have not yet been announced. Typically there are 20-25 students on the team.
Tryouts are held in January followed by an 8-week season starting in February. Last year, matches were held on Wednesdays at 4:30pm and typically lasted an hour.
Please follow our team on Twitter to stay up to date with the latest information. Are the esports team and the video game club the same thing? No!
There is a separate (but similar) group called the Video Game Club which usually meets twice per month in the fall to play popular PC, Nintendo, PS5, and Xbox games. No experience is necessary - it's just a fun way to meet new people who enjoy gaming.
