SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE NIGHT
-
Thursday, August 24, 2023 @ 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Fremd CafeteriaFremd's Movie Night will feature The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-sponsored by the Esports Team and the Video Game Club. All Fremd students are invited! Admission is $5, which includes a slide of pizza, a drink, and a raffle ticket to win an official Mario Bros Nintendo wireless controller. Additional snacks will be available for purchase.
Video Game Club
-
Video Game Club usually meets twice per month in the fall to play popular PC, Nintendo, PS5, and Xbox games. No experience is necessary - it's just a fun way to meet new people who enjoy gaming. An introductory meeting will be held in August.
Are the esports team and the video game club the same thing? No!
There is a separate (but similar) group which is the competitive Esports Team. Tryouts are held in January followed by an 8-week season starting in February that competes in-person against other schools in League of Legends, Mario Kart, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, and FIFA. Please visit the official team page on Twitter for more information.
