Applicants must be at least 17 years of age. Students who enter the Alternative High School officially withdraw from their day school. Permanent records will remain on file with the Alternative High School. Preliminary registration requires the approval of the student services director if a current District 211 student. Older students and students new to District 211 may contact the director of continuing education for additional information. Appointments are required for all interested students in order to complete the registration process. Please call (847) 755-6820 with any questions.

Testing MUST be completed by all students registering for the fall semester, regardless if you have been in the program previously.  All testing will be done at Hoffman Estates High School.  The testing is a standardized reading test that the state requires of all individuals enrolled in the program.  Testing usually takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Dates of testing will be listed in the registration form online.  You MUST choose a date to test.
