D211 Internship Program

  • A high school internship is a unique opportunity for a student to gain invaluable knowledge, experience, and confidence in future college and career decisions.

District 211 does not give academic credit for the internship, which lends it to a lot of flexibility. Training students in various positions also can help to close skills gaps some companies are facing while at the same time allowing companies to evaluate potential future employees. Additionally, an internship can help build a strong network between the business, the school, and the community.

To be an internship host, please contact Jan Brottman, District 211 internship coordinator or complete the Google form here.

To sign up to participate as a student, see your Career Advisor for the Schoology course code.
