Adult ESL Night School

Welcome to Adult ESL Night School

WHAT WE TEACH: Levels range from Beginner to Advanced. Students learn reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, with an emphasis on reading. In addition, students are taught math, digital literacy and civics skills. Classes fill quickly!

PLACEMENT: Students are placed into a level with a reading test and may not choose a level. Children of students are not allowed to attend classes; however, childcare is offered at the Higgins Education Center site.

REQUIREMENTS: Students may not miss more than four classes any semester. New students must attend an orientation before the test. The testing date will be provided during orientation and in the registration link. Testing will take about three hours. Testing begins August 5th for some classes and registration will be closed August 26, 2024.
