Board of Education Member

Tim Mc Gowan was elected to the Board of Education in April 2021.  Mr. Mc Gowan is employed as a loss mitigation specialist, a position he has held since 2020.  Prior to this, he was a receiving clerk with Richard Wolf Medical Instruments from 2015-2020.  In 2009, Mr. Mc Gowan served his country, enlisting in the United States Army as a light wheel mechanic.  Mr. Mc Gowan has resided within District 211 boundaries for more than 10 years.  He has volunteered his time within the District 211 community, serving as a co-host for the Buehler YMCA Halloween event from 2017-2019.  In 2017, he volunteered at Palatine’s Partners for our Communities’ “Better Together” school supply drive.  Mr. Mc Gowan is a graduate of William Fremd High School.
