Understanding D211 Grading Improvements for Parents
Grades students receive in high school are an important communication tool used by teachers, parents, employers, and colleges. In July and August, Superintendent Daniel Cates sent out information regarding grading improvements beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.
Township High School District 211 was pleased to offer informational session to help parents understand new grading improvements and using the grading portion of Infinite Campus. Identical sessions for understanding grading improvements and practices in Infinite Campus were held on August 16 at Palatine High School and August 24 at Conant High School.
District 211 administrators reviewed grading improvements for the upcoming school year and tips on using Infinite Campus as a tool for parents in regard to grading. Though ideal for parents whose children are new to high school, this community engagement session also was beneficial for those parents who wanted to ensure they fully understand the grading improvements for the upcoming school year and are using the Infinite Campus grading tool to its fullest potential.
