School Parking: Memo to Seniors

  • Greetings Hawks,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying your summer!

As many of you know, student parking at HEHS is a highly sought-after privilege, with priority given to our senior students. After reviewing last year’s policies and challenges, we are implementing a more structured process to help ensure a smoother experience this year.

    Step 1: Mandatory Parking Meetings:

Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of parking eligibility. Students who are eligible for parking—meaning they have submitted a parking application and possess a valid driver’s license by Wednesday, August 13th—must attend a mandatory meeting outlining the rules and expectations for parking on campus.

    • Tuesday, August 12th | 1st 10 minutes of each lunch (Auditorium)
    • Wednesday, August 13th | 1st 10 minutes of each lunch (Auditorium)

Attendance at one of these sessions is required. Students who do not attend will not be issued a parking pass, even if they have applied. You must attend this meeting in order to access your invoice on MySchool Bucks.

Students who do not have a valid driver’s license by August 13th will be placed on the wait list.

Step 2: To pick up your parking pass, you must present:

    • Proof of insurance
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Proof of payment (receipt from cashier or screenshot of payment from MySchoolBucks)

Students who do not bring all required documents at the time of pick-up will not receive a parking pass and may lose their eligibility.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure a smooth and fair parking process for all.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Thomas Barlow
    Assistant Principal
