School of Rock, otherwise known as SOR, is an extra-curricular activity at which students improve their music talents, develop music groups or individual acts, improve their performance skills, practice recording techniques and learn the ins and outs of being in a band. The club meets once a week and has interdisciplinary connections with music, business (marketing), applied technology (electronics), English (lyric writing) and art (photography, flyers and web page design). Use your SOR time to get ready for the Variety Show, Open Mic nights or a band showcase! Whether you are in a previously formed band, want to form a new band or you want time to practice an instrument, the School of Rock is for you!
