Student Council
-
Student Council is the organization designed to foster school spirit and to serve the entire student body. General membership is open to any student who is interested in being actively involved in school activities. Officers are elected in the spring of each year. In addition to planning school dances such as Homecoming and Turnabout, Student Council's other activities include a student blood drive, school assemblies, a canned food drive, participation in local and state leadership seminars, and other holiday, spirit, and community events throughout the year. The council serves to relay student concern and opinion to the administration through regularly scheduled meetings between the Student Council president and the principal. General assembly meetings occur on a rotating period basis once per month in the auditorium. All work sessions are held in the Student Council office in room 250. Updated information can be found there or on our website. Work Sessions occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Come join Student Council!
