Operation Snowball

  • Operation Snowball is an exciting prevention program founded on the belief that, through adequate information and self-understanding, every person has the capacity to make sound decisions and positively influence others. Operation Snowball is a 15-hour daylong retreat for all Conant students and is designed by teens, for teens. Students selected for membership in Operation Snowball coordinate the retreat, and receive extensive training throughout the school year in-group facilitation, leadership, and communication skills. The retreat uses presentations, workshops, activities, and small group discussions to emphasize responsible decision making skills and creating a positive peer culture at Conant.
