Color guard, or flags, is the visual performance element to our marching band show. We twirl a variety of equipment, including tall flags, swing flags, and rifles. The color guard is an important contribution of the audience appeal of the marching program, particularly in our performances at halftime shows, during assemblies, and at the Schaumburg September Fest Parade. No experience is necessary to join our program – we will teach all the skills necessary through Open Houses in the spring and at our required weeklong band camp over summer.
