D211 Summer School 2022

“Township High School District 211 serves the educational needs of the community, inspiring all students to successfully contribute to the world.”
    – Adopted by the Board of Education in August 2016

Welcome to Summer School!

  • In Township District 211, we are proud to boast of quality programs, exceptional staff, and enriching opportunities for students.

All students residing in High School District 211 may enroll in our tuition Summer School program.

Summer school provides opportunities for students to improve academic skills and explore new interests. It also enables incoming freshmen to become familiar with the high school routine.

For the 2022 Summer School, District 211 will be offering a traditional program.  In District 211, masks are optional on buses and in summer school classrooms. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends universal indoor masking in K-12 schools only in areas of high transmission. That information can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019- ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html. Within our school communities, we respect and support individual, family, and staff choices regarding their decisions surrounding wearing masks.

The Summer School 2022 program will continue to operate under a four-day week (Monday through Thursday) structure for all programs, with a total of 26 days, 13 days each semester.

The class times will be 8:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. for Palatine and Hoffman Estates High Schools, and 7:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for Fremd and Schaumburg High Schools.

Due to construction projects at Conant High School, academic courses will be reassigned to Schaumburg High School. Academy, special education, and specialty courses for Conant High School will be reassigned to Hoffman Estates High School.  Athletic and activity camps for Conant High School will resume at Conant.  On the north side of the district, construction projects will cause the ESL academy courses for Palatine High School to be reassigned to Fremd High School.

Online registration for current D211 students will begin on Monday, April 4 at 7:00 m. for Conant, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg High Schools, and on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:00 a.m. for Palatine and Fremd High Schools. Online registration for incoming freshmen will begin April 18 at the school the student will attend in the fall. All are encouraged to register early. Walk-in registration is also available.
