Athletic Recognitions

Athletes recognized for their accomplishments were Alexander Serwatkiewicz from Hoffman Estates High School’s Boys Gymnastics Team for placing 5^th on the High Bar, Will Stewart from William Fremd High School’s Boys Track and Field Team for placing 7^th in the 100-meter dash, Dominik Ball from Palatine High School’s Boys Track and Field Team for placing 8^th in the Long Jump, and Palatine High School Girls Track and Field members Anastazja Ball for placing 8^th in the Long Jump and Kylee Stammer for placing 6^th in the Discus Throw.  A complete list of those students recognized is available here.

Illinois High School Gymnastics Association Boys Gymnastics Coach of the Year

Palatine High School Boys Gymnastics Coach Scott Hagel was recognized by the Board of Education after being named the Illinois High School Gymnastics Association Boys Gymnastics Coach of the Year.  You can read more about this recognition here.

2021 Presidential Scholar

William Fremd High School Class of 2021 graduate Pavan Pandurangi was recognized by the Board of Education for being named as a 2021 Presidential Scholar.  Pavan was one of only 161 students nationwide to receive the honor.  You can read more about this announcement here.
