AP Test Registration Information
-
Students who are enrolled in AP courses are eligible and encouraged to participate in AP testing in May to earn college credit for their work in high school. AP courses allow students to experience college-level work and develop the academic skills needed for college success.
Students enrolled in AP courses can register for an AP test by completing the following steps:
- Create a MyAP account or confirm that you can log into a pre-existing account, and “join” your teacher’s AP course section with the unique join code provided by each AP teacher.
- Indicate your intent to take AP exams in your MyAP account no later than November 1, 2020. Please be sure to complete this step as this is how exams are ordered with the College Board.
- Pay AP exam fees using Total Registration no later than November 12, 2020. Exam registration and fee payment for courses that begin in the 2nd semester will occur in January. Please use your school’s Total Registration link provided below to complete this step:
- View the 2020-2021 AP exam schedule, available by clicking here, and mark your calendar to note the date(s) of AP exam(s) you will be taking. The College Board anticipates that this year’s AP exams will be administered in school. Our school will monitor communications from the College Board regarding health and safety protocols that will be followed on exam days.
Recognizing the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on families and schools, the College Board will not charge its established $40 exam cancellation fee to students who change their mind about taking an exam. There will continue to be a $40 charge for students who decide to register for an exam after the November deadline has passed.
