HAWKS Engineering Underwater ROV
-
HAWKS Engineering was founded in September 2014 by a team of high school engineering students. This company is dedicated to creating effective solutions for underwater scientific exploration, data collection and equipment maintenance and repair. The company incorporates knowledge of the design process and mechanical, electrical, fluid power and control systems to provide solutions for deep water applications. Due to competition rules, space on this team is limited. The team functions as a company to design an underwater vehicle to accomplish a series of tasks as defined in the competition mission brief. Students enrolled in T408 – PLTW Digital Electronics and T418 – PLTW Civil Engineering & Architecture are encouraged to apply for this competition team.
