Hoffman Estates High School Color Guard has evolved into a captivating form of entertainment, similar to dance theater. We skillfully blend movement with props to express the dynamic passages of the accompanying music. Serving as the visual representation of the music performed by the marching band, the HEHS Skyhawks employ an array of equipment including flags, sabers, and more.
During summer camp, Hoffman Estates High School Color Guard diligently prepares for the fall season, honing their skills and perfecting their routines. Once the fall season begins, we take the field for football game performances, adding a vibrant visual dimension to the halftime shows. We also bring our energy and creativity to basketball games, assemblies, and other school events, captivating audiences with our dynamic performances.
As the fall season transitions into winter, the Skyhawks seamlessly transition to indoor competitions. Competing from November through April, they continue to showcase their talent and dedication in esteemed circuits like MWCGC (Midwest Color Guard Circuit) and WGI (Winter Guard International). Their performances during this time are a testament to their passion for the art form, as they mesmerize audiences with their creativity and precision.
Through their commitment to excellence and their love for performance, Hoffman Estates High School Color Guard enhances the spirit of their school community and leaves a lasting impression wherever they go.
