Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Honorees

Students who have earned all-state honors from the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA), have been invited this evening to receive Board of Education recognition.

Daily Herald Leadership Team

The Daily Herald sponsored its 18th annual Leadership Team for 2018-2019. This honor recognizes high school students who are among the top in leadership through their involvement in school, church, and community organizations. High School District 211 had four students named to the first team: Maegan Jong from William Fremd High School; Lidia Mena from Palatine High School; Rajat Mittal from James B. Conant High School; and Megan Pasquarelli from Schaumburg High School. These students have been invited this evening to receive Board of Education recognition.

Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame Inductee

James B. Conant High School Athletic Director John Kane was recently inducted into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame. He has been invited to this evening’s meeting to receive Board of Education recognition.

John Kane was recognized by the Township High School District 211 Board of Education for being inducted into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame.

Girls Bowling Illinois State Coach of the Year

Hoffman Estates High School Girls Bowling Coach Daniel Pfligler was recently named Girls Bowling Illinois State Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations. He was been invited to this evening’s meeting to receive Board of Education recognition. 

Illinois High School Gymnastics Coaches Hall of Fame Inductee 

Michelle Calisch was recognized by the Township High School District 211 Board of Education for being inducted to the Illinois High School Gymnastics Coaches Hall of Fame.
