District 211 Presidential Scholars

  • The United States Presidential Scholar Program was established in 1964 in order to recognize some of the nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the country’s highest honors for high school students.  Each scholar chosen has demonstrated leadership, scholarship, contribution to school and community; exceptional talent in the visual, creative, and performing arts; or ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields.
