College Visits and College Fairs

Information for College Representatives: Visits can be scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during periods 2-8 by using Hobsons.com. When you arrive at Schaumburg, please park in visitors parking which is located in front of Doors 1 (you will see a flagpole). Enter through Door 1 and check in at the main office. Information for Students: Students who wish to attend a college representative visit may use the College and Career group on Schoology (code: XKZ6K-VMKQS) to RSVP or come down to Student Services to sign-in. Students who plan attend will be excused from their class, but they must communicate with their teacher beforehand. The list of college visits can be found in the Excel Spreadsheet to the left.

College Visits:
College-bound juniors and seniors may be excused for two days to visit colleges to which they have applied for admission.
Parents please call your the Attendance Line two school days prior to a college visit. The phone number for the Attendance Line is (847) 755-4670.
Many colleges conduct Open House activities during holidays. Please consider scheduling a visit during days off or Spring and Summer Break.
Call the College Admissions Office ahead of time to make an appointment.
