  • Senior Prom 2021 – Attendee Information

    We are looking forward to celebrating Senior Prom 2021 and looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday, May 1.

    There is a full night planned for you to enjoy, including Improv Comedy, Professional Trivia Game, Interactive Photo Booths and DJ - sorry, current state mitigations does not allow for dancing. 

    Just a few reminders for the night of Senior Prom:

    1. Arrive at the Westin Chicago Northwest - Itasca, IL at 5:45 p.m. 
      Prom is scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  
    2. You (and your guest) must have a photo ID to be admitted.
    3. You (and your guest) will complete the Daily Wellness Screener prior to arrival and present upon entering.

    NON - D211 Guest must use this link to complete Daily Wellness

    1. Know your assigned room number - you will be directed by SHS staff members to report there upon arrival.  This information can be found on SignUpGenius; an email will be sent to you on Thursday confirming that information, again.
    2. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating dinner. You will remain at the assigned table for the evening. All safety protocols will be followed.
    3. As this is a school-sponsored event, all Township High School District 211 and Schaumburg High School policies and rules are expected to be followed by you and your guest.

    The Prom Process

    The Junior Class is pleased to announce Senior Prom 2021 - “We’re All In This Together” on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Westin Chicago Northwest Hotel in Itasca from 

    6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

    As a result of the current State of Illinois mitigation guidelines, Senior Prom will look different this year.  The following will be adhered to during this event:

    • We will have multiple rooms in order to meet State of Illinois mitigation guidelines for room capacity and will limit each room to no more than 50 people. 
    • Tables are limited to 6 students maximum.
    • Please note that current guidelines do not allow for dancing and the Prom will consist of a formal dinner and entertainment in each room.  Students will remain at their table for the evening.
    • All attendees must complete a Daily Wellness Screener and have temperature taken upon arrival. 
    • Social distancing and safety protocols will be followed, including wearing a mask when not eating dinner.

    Additionally, students and parents should note the following important details related to this event:

    • This is an SHS Senior Prom event. Semi-formal or formal attire is recommended.
    • Seniors have the opportunity to invite one guest.  All guests must be under 20 years of age or a currently enrolled high school student.  
    • All attendees must present a current picture ID at the door and have it available all evening on request. 

    As you know, the State of Illinois may change the mitigation guidelines between now and the Prom date.   As the guidelines change, District 211 and the Westin will adjust the event based upon the current guidelines. 

    Tickets are available for purchase through MySchoolBucks now through Wednesday, April 14.  Tickets are $45 per person/$90 per couple.

  • STEP 1: PURCHASE YOUR PROM TICKETS ONLINE

    Tickets are available to purchase April 7 through April 14, 2021

    Prom Tickets $45 per person/$90 per couple
    Tickets will not be available after April 14, 2021.

    How to purchase your tickets online through MySchoolBucks

    1. Create a MySchoolBucks account if you do not already have one.
      Learn how to make a MySchoolBucks account here
    2. Select “School Store” from the top left menu.
      Please note that Prom tickets sales will only be visible to SHS Senior students in the School Store through MySchoolBucks.
    3. Select “Browse All Items” on the left side.
    4. Select “Prom 2021 Tickets” from options.
    5. Select “Student” name from the drop down.
    6. Under “Options” select either  

    “Senior Prom Ticket For Self”  OR  “Senior Prom Ticket for Guest and Self”

    1. If you are purchasing a ticket for a guest, complete all of the required guest information listed.
    2. IMPORTANT:  Print the COVID-19 waiver(s)
      One for you and your guest, if applicable.  You and your Guest will need to separately complete the COVID-19 waiver. The COVID-19 waivers must be printed, completed and returned to Schaumburg High School at Entrance 1, in person, by Friday, April 16.  

    Please note: If you are unable to purchase your tickets online, please contact the SHS cashier to make in-person arrangements for payment.

  • STEP 2: BRING COMPLETED COVID-19 WAIVER(S) TO SCHAUMBURG HIGH SCHOOL

    Now through Friday, April 16

    All STUDENTS and GUESTS attending Prom must download and complete the COVID-19 waiver form.  The COVID-19 waivers must be printed, completed, and returned to Schaumburg High School at Entrance 1, in person, by Friday, April 16.  

    Table selection will be completed online through SignUpGenius, April 19 and April 20.  The SHS student purchasing the ticket(s) receives the SignUpGenius link for table and food selection through their school email on April 19 if the completed COVID-19 waiver(s) is returned.


    You will NOT have access to the SignUpGenius link for table and food selection until the completed COVID-19 waiver(s) are received by SHS.  


    Students will not be permitted to attend Prom if the signed COVID-19 waiver is not returned.

  • STEP 3: COMPLETE TABLE AND FOOD SELECTION THROUGH SIGNUPGENIUS

    Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20

    1. Coordinate with your friends to determine your table of 6 before Monday, April 19.
    2. The senior who purchased the ticket(s) will receive the SignUpGenius link in their school email on Monday, April 19.
    3. Create a SignUpGenius account with your school email only - other email addresses will NOT be able to access the form.
    4. Step-by-Step instructions for SignUpGenius table and food selection will be sent with the link to your school email address.
