Graduation Ceremony Attendance Survey Due by Noon on May 5

  • A participation survey was sent through email to the primary guardian for District 211 seniors with the subject line “Level Green - Graduation Ceremony Attendance Survey.”  In order to plan a safe, successful indoor graduation, we need to know the exact number of seniors who will participate in the event. The emailed survey asks families to commit to either attending an indoor ceremony or decline the offer to participate.  Your families survey response will be considered final, as we will use the number of student attendees to determine the number of tickets each family will be allocated.  Ticket allocations will be determined based on the actual number of students who indicate they will participate in the ceremony. Actual ticket allocation numbers will be communicated to families next week. Please remember that we must comply with all IDPH and ISBE COVID-19 mitigations and guidelines.

This survey is student specific, meaning it can only be completed once and cannot be forwarded, so please check the primary email.  Please complete by noon on Wednesday, May 5.

  • Conant High School’s Senior Prom will be held on the evening of Saturday, May 15 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare, in Rosemont. Over 370 students have signed up to enjoy this exciting event together with their classmates and friends!

Ticket prices are $45 per student and $90 per couple.

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare has worked to ensure a safe environment for our students based upon the current State of Illinois and Cook County Department of Public Health mitigation guidelines. Although current guidelines do not allow for dancing, the Junior Class Council is working hard to make the event special for every senior and one guest.  It will be a formal event that will include dinner, picture stations, entertainment by seniors and faculty, with games and prizes as well. Senior Superlatives will also be announced at the prom!

As hoped for, we are now expected to be able to have up to 250 students in a single room allowing us to need only two rooms and having more students enjoy this exciting event together with more of their classmates and friends!

Ticket sales begin Wednesday, April 21 and additional details, including the ticket purchasing process will be communicated by the Junior Class Council sponsors on this date.

Name Pronunciation for Graduation Due by Tuesday, May 18

  • Graduation is Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Your name is going to be announced at graduation and we want to make sure it is pronounced correctly. Typically, we have a graduation practice, and you speak your name to the reader. Unfortunately, due to COVID, there will not be a graduation practice, but we still want to pronounce your name correctly. What we need you to do is submit a phonetic spelling of your name along with an audio clip of you speaking your name. Important: We need this information by Tuesday, May 18.

Here are some tips to create your audio file before you click on the link. Use the Voice Memos app on your iPad (or other program, if you are more comfortable) to record the pronunciation of your name. Once you record and save the file and title your file with your full name, then upload the file in the google form.

You need to be logged into your school google account to access this google form.

The night will end with a firework display sponsored by our CHS Boosters!

Students are encouraged to wear CHS Senior Shirts or Spirit Wear!
Students must present their school ID to enter the stadium.
