Orchesis was founded in 1960 and is the official dance group of PHS. After spring tryouts, members create, costume and produce the annual Dance Show. Students also participate in Homecoming, Variety Show, and assemblies. Orchesis encourages creativity through the exploration of dance forms (ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop), while emphasizing fundamental skills and individual expression.
