  • Blood Drive

    extended hand with a drop of blood on it The Medical Careers Club will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, in the Atrium. Please make an appointment during your lunch hour from October 20 to 23 in the student cafeteria or email Mrs. DeGuia at vdeguia@d211.org with questions. Participating donors will receive a coupon for a Papa John's Papadia flat bread sandwich.

    All donors need a consent form which you will get while making the appointment. Please review height and weight requirements before making the appointment. Eat well, hydrate, and bring your ID.

  • Boys Basketball Meeting

Our preseason basketball meeting will be held after school on Thursday, October 30th, in the North Gym. We’ll cover everything you need to know before tryouts — including the team selection process, schedules, and important season details. Don’t miss it! Contact Coach Grana if you have any questions.   • Garba Night

    paw print in blue with a red borderSASA is hosting their annual Garba Night on October 24th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m in the Main Gym! It’ll be an exciting evening with music, dancing, and Taco Bell. Students interested in attending should submit the Payment Google Form by October 17th. You can find the form on Schoology (Code: JM9M-XKWD-XSRRF) or on SASA’s Instagram page. Remember to bring your student ID and show your confirmation email at the event. It’s going to be a fun night you won’t want to miss!

  • Improv Workshops

Our info session and first workshop will be Tuesday, October 28th, in room 229. Attend 3 out of 4 workshops to audition for the troupe, or just come to have some fun creating scenes on the spot with friends, old and new!     Color Guard is holding Open Gyms and Tryouts for our upcoming Competition Season!

    Open Gyms:
    Monday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    Tryouts:
    Monday, November 3, and Wednesday, November 5, from 6 p.m. to 8  p.m.

    Even if you’ve never spun a flag before, we’ll teach you everything you need to know during the Open Gyms! We ask that anyone trying out attend at least one Open Gym and both Tryout days. If you have any questions, please visit Ms. Stricker in the library or email her at dstricker@d211.org.

  • Conant Debate Winners

    paw print outlined in white with the words Conant Debate in white at the top on a blue backgroundThe Student Congress Debate team had an excellent showing at the ICDA 2 tournament last Saturday at Grayslake Central, producing 10 individual awards for best legislation, best presiding officer, and best chamber speaker; and a sixth-place team finish overall. Congratulations to Joey, Nini, Bianca, Vanshika, Om, Aoto, Jaival, Hrithika, and Niva. Our next tournament is November 1st at Stevenson High School. Go Conant Debate!
