iPad Pickup Information
- When can new Palatine students pick up their school-issued iPad?
When a student enrolls at Palatine High School, they are issued an iPad and all of the digital accounts needed for their classes including email, Microsoft Office 365, Google Docs, Schoology, and Infinite Campus. Students will receive an iPad with those apps already signed in, and they will have an email waiting for them in Outlook with their passwords.
During the summer, iPad pick up dates are as follows:
- Wednesday, June 25: Summer school students will receive their iPads from their teachers during class on the first day of second semester summer school. This is only for students who are attending the second semester summer school session.
- The Freshman Kickoff is on TBD. Students can pick up their iPads from a table on the second floor of the English hallway during the event. Students who do not pick up their iPads by the first day of school will be directed by the wellness teacher to collect the iPad during their wellness class.
- We suggest enrolling in the optional iPad Protection Plan, costing $25 per year, to lower the cost of repairs or replacements. Purchase this plan through MySchoolBucks and visit our website for more details
Only a student or their parent or guardian can pick up an iPad. Siblings, neighbors, friends, or others cannot pick up an iPad on a student's behalf.
The iPad Protection Plan is $25 per school year and it is effective the day you purchase it. You can pay for this optional protection plan online through MySchoolBucks before you arrive to pick up your iPad. You are not permitted to purchase the protection plan after your iPad has been damaged. Follow this link for the details about the optional Protection Plan.
