A message from the Principal

Our amazing staff works diligently to provide your child with a classroom atmosphere that encourages students to set high expectations for themselves and achieve at a high level.  We encourage you to get involved in your child’s high school experience. Help them maximize their time here by setting goals and encouraging them to challenge themselves. Be sure to ask thoughtful questions about their interests, not only about academics but also colleges and careers. Dig deep into what courses your children may choose based on their career interests. When researching, start the discussion with your children about challenging themselves to take one of our Advanced Placement or Dual Credit courses that will result in them earning college credit.  Other helpful post high school information can be found regarding the Harper College Promise Scholarship inside the back cover of this guide.  Stay active in your child’s athletics or activities. Our Pirate Booster Club is a great way to connect with other parents. The boosters provide incredible opportunities for our students through fundraising efforts and donations. Getting involved with the boosters will provide you with a stronger connection with our school community that will enhance not only your time as a Pirate, but also your child’s We could not be more excited to welcome our newest Pirates.
