Placement Testing Information

The Pre-ACT establishes a baseline measurement of your college and career readiness as you enter high school. It also gives you a chance to preview the ACT. The assessment is administered each October to incoming freshmen for both placement and establishing benchmark scores.  

Incoming freshmen are required to complete a placement exam which assists in determining English, math, and science course placement along with identifying students for required participation in the Incoming Freshmen math and reading summer school programs.

Report Time: 7:45 a.m.

Testing Time: 8:00 - 11:15 p.m.

 

What to Bring:

• Sharpened #2 pencil.
• Calculator

Students eligible for testing accommodations will receive additional

information leading up to the exam date. Students with accommodations

will finish at different times depending on their ACT approved

accommodations therefore, they will need to arrange for their own

transportation home after testing.
