Hoffman Estates High School student Marco Gomez won first place in the 2014 Congressional Art competition. He is pictured with his sponsor, art teacher Cynthia Surtz. His original artwork will be displayed as part of an exhibit at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
