Students may receive a 100% refund if they withdraw from a full-tuition academic course before the first class meeting.

• Students enrolled in Summer School may receive a partial refund for only the following reasons:
  • Any long-term illness or injury causing withdrawal from Summer School. The refund request must be accompanied by a doctor’s verification of the medical condition causing withdrawal.
  • A death in the immediate family.

• Academic refund checks for 1st semester will be issued on or near the end of June, and 2nd semester on or near the end of July.
• NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY OTHER REASONS.
• A school administrator and the District Summer School administrator must approve all refunds which will be subject to a review of initial payment. ORIGINAL BUS PASS MUST BE SURRENDERED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL TRANSPORTATION REFUND. Refund requests without a bus pass will be delayed until the pass is returned.

All fees must be paid in full at time of registration. If paying by check, please make checks payable to “Township High School District 211.”

Breakfast and lunch will be available to purchase during summer school. Prepayments can be added to a meal account using a credit card at MySchoolBucks.com. Incoming freshman can be added to an account in MySchoolBucks after May 1st. The most current information pertaining to meal service can be found on the Food Service Menu page. 

If you are interested in applying for a fee waiver or for free or reduced-price meals for summer school, please complete a meal application. If you already completed an application for school year 2025-2026, you do not need to complete a new application for summer. District 211 offers a Summer Meal program which is available to view on the Summer Meal Program page under Food & Nutrition Services. 

After students have met with their counselor and have made course selections, registration can be completed for students at the high school they will attend during the 2026-2027 school year OR online. Online payment is available for District 211 families by using the Infinite Campus Portal. Online payment can be made by credit card using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Parents desiring to complete registration online may do so by using the same username and password that has been previously provided. Walk-in and online registrations must adhere to deadlines as stated. Payment for walk-in registrations may be done by cash, check, or credit card.

District 211 provides limited bus transportation for Summer School students enrolled in morning academic credit courses. Transportation is available to and from school for these morning classes only.

• The transportation fee is $60 per semester

Bus service is not provided for afternoon programs and is not available for transportation following athletic or activity camps.

Because some courses—such as Driver Education—may operate on schedules that differ from standard Summer School class times, students enrolled in these courses may not be able to utilize district bus service.
Bus Stops and Arrival Expectations

Students assigned to a Summer School bus route should arrive at their designated bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled route start time and remain at the stop until the bus arrives.

Bus Passes
Students who register for transportation will receive a temporary bus pass prior to the start of Summer School:

• In-person payment: Students will receive a temporary bus pass at the school where they register.
• Online payment: Families will receive an email notification once a bus route has been assigned. Students should then see their school counselor to obtain a temporary bus pass.

Eligible students will receive a permanent bus pass on the first day of Summer School attendance.
