Career Advisors

D211 Career Advisors are dedicated to supporting students as they explore their career options. The focus is on each student's interests and strengths to help them make informed choices  to achieve their career dreams!

Explore Career Pathways
Career advisors assist students in discovering various career options, including vocational training, apprenticeships, military service, and immediate job opportunities after graduation.

Through Career Treks, students have the opportunity to visit local businesses, industries, and organizations to get an up-close look at different career paths. These experiences allow students to engage with real-world environments, helping them make more informed decisions about their future careers.

Additionally, Career Advisors organize Career Panels, bringing professionals from diverse fields directly to our students. These panels provide valuable insights into various industries, job roles, and career journeys, while giving students the chance to ask questions and build connections.

With these hands-on experiences and expert interactions, Career Advisors help bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness, empowering students to discover their passions and plan for a successful future.

Provide Resources
Valuable tools such as career assessments help students understand their skills and interests. Advisors also connect students with job shadowing and internship opportunities for real-world experience.

Resume Building
Assistance is available for creating and improving resumes, highlighting skills, experiences, and accomplishments to ensure students present themselves well to potential employers.

Collaborate with the Community
Career advisors work closely with teachers, local businesses, and community partners to build a supportive network for students.
