The Business and Financial Services Department oversees the District’s accounting and financial operations to ensure fiscal responsibility, transparency, and longterm financial stability. The department is responsible for developing and managing the District’s annual budget and tax levy, preparing financial projections, and producing monthly board reports and comprehensive financial statements. In addition, the department manages the District’s investments, disbursements, audits, and internal financial procedures and controls to safeguard public funds and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Business and Financial Services also administers the District’s financial software systems, district payrolls, collection of student fees and other revenues and oversees treasury functions. Through careful planning, sound financial management, and strong internal controls, the department supports the District’s educational mission by maintaining efficient operations and protecting its financial integrity.
