Blues guitarist B.B. King once said, “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” Learning and discovering new things is an ongoing, life-long endeavor. This year, Township High School District 211 is entering its 65th year of providing life-long educational opportunities for our adult population. One of the goals in District 211 is to maximize the use of facilities. By offering evening courses, the District is expanding the use of classroom and recreational facilities for residents. We continue to offer courses that are interesting, rewarding, and challenging to all adults 18 years of age and older. This fall, we have added new courses in the areas of bereavement education, business and careers, iPad usage, photo file management, CNC woodwoking, and many others.
The District 211 Continuing Education staff is hopeful that you find the course offerings helpful and beneficial in fulfilling our personal and professional needs while providing some new and exciting learning opportunities.
We are always looking for individuals who are willing to teach on a variety of subjects. If you possess the skill and knowledge and are willing to share your area of expertise, please contact the Continuing Education Office
If you have suggestions for programs you would like to see offered, please let us know. We are continually looking for new courses and for individuals with a specific skill who might be willing to share their expertise with others. Teaching a course might be of interest to you and play a role in your future. The future is bright in Township High School District 211!
Remember, registration for fall, 2013 begins on Monday, August 19, 2013.
Wishing you a healthy and happy 2013.
